Singapore

Besides the stunning architecture that makes up its iconic skyline, Singapore is home to museums that boast a range of collections, colourful street murals, and public art installations. Plan a visit to Singapore for 5 to 7 days to experience the best out of it.
Given below are some of the famous places that can be included in the Singapore itinerary
1. City Life and Skyscrapers:

Visit Marina Bay, which is the central area of Singapore, for various activities, such as

i. Art and Science museum: Provides a fusion of Art with Science and is a great place both for children and elder people. You will get to draw things and then visualize them on the big screen. Book your tickets online, as it is usually difficult to buy tickets on the spot.   

ii. Time Capsule and Singapore Flyer: Embark on an immersive adventure at the Time Capsule that takes you on a thrilling journey through Singapore's past, present, and future, followed by one rotation (30 minutes) on the Singapore Flyer in a shared capsule for breathtaking views of Singapore. Try to book for the evening slot to enjoy the beautiful sunset.

2. Aquariums and Wildlife Parks:

i.  Mandai zoological park:  If you are a wildlife lover, this is a place for you. You will get a chance to see many sea animals, along with Pandas, Anacondas, Jaguars, Flamingos, and different species of monkeys. There are various activities to do, such as Night Safari, River Wonders, etc. which you can find here. Not only this, there is a cafe by the name Mama Panda where you can hop in for lunch and panda-themed coffee. Just keep in mind that you will have to buy a General ticket for zoo entry and a separate ticket for the activities.

The best of all is River Safari, also known as River Wonders, where you get on an exciting boat ride to discover the Amazonian wildlife.

ii. Bird Paradise: Enjoy close encounters and get a chance to see different species of birds from all over the world. To book, click here.

How to reach: Take the red line metro to Khatib station. From the station, the shuttles run every 10 minutes, and they will take you directly to Bird Paradise and Mandai Zoological Park. For more info, click here.

iii. S.E.A Aquarium, Sentosa Island: Sentosa offers you a tour of one of the largest Sea aquariums in the world, with around a thousand different species of aquatic animals. Book here to avoid long queues.

3. Botanical Parks:

​Visit Singapore Botanical Park and Gardens by the Bay if you love exploring different plant species. There is also a light show at 7:45 PM in Gardens By the Bay which is absolutely not a miss, and it's totally free of cost.

4.  Adventure Rides and Water Parks:

There are several activities to do on Sentosa Island, and just to make it more clear, you have to buy tickets for all activities separately.

i. Universal Studio: Universal Studio is one of the famous places to visit in Singapore. It consists of theme parks and rides that will definitely give you the adrenaline rush. You can book online here. Also, you can download the app to get real-time updates on waiting times for different activities.

ii. Skyline Luge: Hop in the driver seat of unique 3-wheeled Luge carts and let gravity do the rest. You're in full control of your speed as you ride down 4 purpose-built tracks with hairpin corners, exhilarating tunnels, and downhill slopes through a mystical forest that lights up after sundown. iii. Cove Water Park: From thrilling water slides full of high-speed twists and turns to mesmerizing wonders of a mellower kind up close with our colorful marine life, there’s an experience waiting just for you at Adventure Cove Waterpark. 5. Museums

i. Art and Science Meuseum at Marina Bay for enjoying a blend of art with science, with various different activities that will make you remember your childhood. You can buy tickets online here.

ii. Museum of Ice Cream, you can get a chance to taste different ice creams and have a fun time. You can learn more here.

 

iii. Madame Tussauds: Visit the wax museum of Singapore located in Sentosa by directly booking from here.

6. Live shows and events

There are a number of Lives shows, including the

i. Fountain Show at Marina Bay which starts at 9 PM every day and is totally free of cost.

ii. Wings of Fire at Sentosa Island: There is a ticket that you can buy online, and the show starts at 7:40 PM in Sentosa.

7. Shopping

There are numerous areas for shopping in Singapore. Some of them are Shopee at Marina Bay, Orchard Road, VivoCity and many more.
