Places to Visit
The day-wise itinerary is provided keeping in mind the direction and feasibility to cover the maximum locations possible.
DAY 1
If you have landed at Kochi airport, you can visit the given below places en route to Munnar
Cheeyappara & Valara waterfalls: These are the waterfalls that can be easily explored on your way to Munnar.
Ayurveda: There is a place called Vedic village where you not only get a chance to explore different types of plantations such as Spice, Rubber, and many other medicinal plants but they also provide various ayurvedic medicines for different health issues.
DAY 2
Rajamalai/Eravikulam National Park: You can book online for a visit through the official link of the Eravikulam website. It is better to book online as they have long queues at the ticket counter. The park remains closed in February and March. They provide a bus tour through the tea plantations and then drop at a beautiful spot for clicking pictures and a trail walk. There is a small cafe located there with good options to have small meals.
Mattupetty Dam: This is a beautiful dam located in Munnar where you can enjoy different water sports such as Kayaking, peddle boating, jet ski, and speed boating. The tickets are provided on the spot at the counters.

Echo Point: This place is famous for its natural phenomenon of echo and is similar to the Mattupetty dam. It can be skipped if required.
Tea Museum: If you want to know about the history of Munnar, do visit this Tea Museum. There is a 15-20 minutes movie based on the history of tea plantations in Munnar and a factory tour demonstrating the production of tea from tea leaves
DAY 3
Gap road: As you leave Munnar, do visit Gap road as the point is famous for its photogenic scenery.

Cultural Dance shows: One such place is Punarjani in Munnar where you can visit not only to watch Kathakali but Martial Arts as well and it is totally worth the money. You can directly get the tickets on the spot and it is around 500 per person.

Attukad Waterfalls: This waterfall is located in the Idukki district and is a must visit in Munnar.
